Yes. Musical Theatre Village welcomes anyone who would like to audition, regardless of age or previous theatre experience. We are a family-oriented community theatre and are always excited to meet new performers.

No. Previous theatre experience is not required. We welcome both first-time performers and experienced actors, singers, and dancers.

Audition dates for the season are generally posted well in advance, while audition times, songs, and materials are posted closer to the audition date.

If dates are not yet listed, the schedule may still be in development. Please check back regularly for updates.

Audition information is posted as soon as it becomes available. This may be several weeks before auditions or only a few days beforehand, depending on the production.

Requirements vary by production. Be sure to carefully read the audition information posted for each show.Many productions include additional music selections, sides, or callbacks for specific roles.

Most rehearsals are held on weekday evenings, typically between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
The number of rehearsals depends on the role you are cast in. Lead roles generally require more rehearsal time than ensemble roles.
Occasionally, Saturday morning rehearsals may be scheduled for vocals, choreography, or costuming.

Cast fees are generally due at the time of audition.
Fees are fully refundable until the posted refund deadline, usually about one week after the first rehearsal. This allows cast members time to review the script and rehearsal schedule before making a final commitment.
After the refund deadline, cast fees are typically non-refundable. Payment plans may be available in some situations.

In most productions, yes.
We often have opportunities for performers of many ages. Children should be mature enough to remain on stage, follow directions, and fulfill the responsibilities of their role.

Please note that MTV is not a school or childcare program. Parents are responsible for supervising children when they are not actively rehearsing or performing.

No. Musical Theatre Village welcomes participants of all faiths and backgrounds.

While MTV is a Christian-based community theatre, auditions, classes, volunteer opportunities, and productions are open to everyone.

Absolutely.
Volunteers are an important part of every production. Opportunities may include costumes, sets, props, backstage support, front-of-house, concessions, technical theatre, and more.

Yes. Tickets may be purchased through our online ticketing system.

Groups of 15 or more attending the same performance may qualify for group discounts. Please see our ticketing information for current details.

Ticket information for shows:

Tickets are $25.00 for adults, $23.00 for kids (12 and under) and seniors (60+).  Small surcharge for Opening and Closing performances. 

Opening and Closing night Gala performances include a celebration after the performance which includes refreshments.
Tickets are available online at SeatYourself. 
Ticket confirmations sometimes land in an Updates or Spam file in case you don't see them right away!

Group rates are available for 15 or more seats to the same performance. Use code GROUP on SeatYourself to display your discounted rates. (Does not include Closing Gala). 

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO VIDEO OR FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY DURING PERFORMANCES!
All seats are reserved.
Tickets are non-refundable and can only be exchanged if done in advance and seating is available.
We are sorry, but infants and children age 3 and under are not allowed to attend performances at Musical Theatre Village as they may become restless during the performance.
Children age 4 and over must be able to sit quietly for the duration of the show.
Box office opens ½ hour prior to performance.
