Musical Theatre Village is a nonprofit community theater in Irvine where people of all ages come together to create exceptional musical theater while building lifelong friendships.
For more than 30 years, we've produced six family-friendly musicals each season, providing opportunities for children, teens, adults, seniors, and families to perform, volunteer, and grow together. Whether you're stepping onto a stage for the first time or returning after years away, you'll find a welcoming community that believes everyone has something to contribute.
MTV was founded on Christian values of kindness, respect, service, and encouragement. While those values guide everything we do, our doors are open to everyone. We welcome people of every background, faith, and experience level who share a love of theater and community.

Meet our Founder
Denise Fenton
When Denise Fenton began teaching, she saw firsthand how theater could change lives. Looking for a positive outlet for young people, she started an after-school drama program that quickly became much more than a school activity. That experience eventually led her to found Musical Theatre Village, creating a place where entire families could experience the joy of performing together.
More than three decades later, Denise has directed hundreds of productions and helped thousands of performers discover confidence, creativity, and lifelong friendships through theater.
