Rehearsals
Monday – Thursday nights from 6:00-9:30 pm as well as some Fridays & Saturdays. Rehearsals start August 17th and end September 17th with Tech Week starting September 14th. Actors will be called to rehearsals depending on if they are in the scene or song being rehearsed that night. You must be at all rehearsals you are called to. Lead roles will be called to most rehearsals. It is also MANDATORY for every family to volunteer for two shows either doing stage crew, spotlight, shush parent or gala and to put in 3 hours for our set or strike days.

Friday & Saturday nights at 7:30 and Saturday & Sunday matinees at 2:00.
Call time will be 2 hours prior to the show, which includes a MANDATORY warm up so if you cannot make the call time, please include that show as a conflict.

PLOT SUMMARY
A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.
The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!
One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows, Little Shop Of Horrors, the charmingly tongue-in-cheek comedy has been produced worldwide to incredible success with technical aspects running the gamut from Broadway to PTA budgets.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
Seymour Krelborn
Playable age mid-twenties-thirties. 18+ to audition. Our insecure, naive, put-upon, florist’s clerk hero. Above all, he’s a sweet and well-meaning little man who is taken for granted because of his clumsy ways and poor social skills. Strong singer.
Audrey
Playable age mid twenties-thirties. 18+ to audition.
Bleached-blond, Billie-Dawn-like, secret love of Seymour’s life. She has poor self-worth and education, but a sweet and vulnerable demeanor.
Mr. Mushnik
Their boss. A failure of an East Side florist.His accent, if he has one, is more that of middle class New York than of Eastern Europe. He is manipulative, profit driven and greedy. Playable age Mid 20s-60s
Orin Scrivello, D.D.S.
Must be 18+ to audition. Playable age Mid 20s-40s. A tall, dark, handsome dentist with a black leather jacket and sadistic tendencies. Audrey’s abusive boyfriend, who is targeted by Seymour.
The Voice of Audrey II
Provided by an actor on an offstage
Microphone. The voice is that of a conniving, street-smart ‘villain.’ A funky Rhythm and Blues voice is best. Open to both male and female.
THE URCHINS: CRYSTAL, RONNETTE, and CHIFFON
Age 16+. We are open to a more mature trio age range as well. Strong harmony singers. Three female street urchins who function as participants in the action. They’re young, hip, smart, and the only people in the whole cast who really know what’s going on. Grounded in reality. Full of energy. Must be movers as well.

PLOT SUMMARY
Based on the Max Liebman television production, Heidi is a classic musical that once starred the famous Shirley Temple.
Heidi is a young orphaned girl from 1920’s Switzerland without a place to call home. In a time where hope is in short supply, this young girl’s infectious optimism brightens the lives of her recluse grandfather and an invalid rich girl named Klara. Powered by kindness and a free spirit, Heidi makes the miraculous possible.
From the famous 1881 children’s novel, Heidi has had several versions come and go, each sharing uplifting themes of love and resilience.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
Heidi
A free spirited child who won’t allow life’s problems to weigh her down. This little girl always tries to make the most out of whatever situation she’s in but will still long for a family that loves her. She holds onto the hope that one day her wish will come true. Strong singer and dancer needed. Playable age 13 or under.
Grandfather
A bitter old man who turned his back on the world. Wishing only to be left alone, he lives in the Swiss alps where his life is changed by the presence of his granddaughter, bringing new faith in the human race. Strong actor needed. Playable age 40 or over.
Klara
The daughter of a rich German man, this wheelchair bound girl has been treated as more of a fragile antique than as an actual person. The spark of life returns to her when a new Swiss friend treats her as an actual individual, allowing her to be more bold than she ever has before. Playable age 13 or under.
Peter
The only adventurous child in the village, this scrappy young goatherder finds a kindred spirit in Heidi. Uneducated and unwilling to learn, what mischief will he and Heidi get into? Strong dancer. Playable age 13 or under.
Frau Rottenmier
Order and discipline must always be maintained when this frightful governess is around. Children must follow the rules of the manor and any that don’t must be expunged. Playable age 30 or under.
Erica
A street-wise urchin of Frankfurt, her only goal is to make enough money for her next meal. If that involves playing a song or helping some random girl, so be it. Strong dancer and singer needed. Playable age 18 or under.
Aunt Dete
A selfish and unloving woman, this aunt only seeks to benefit herself. She’ll abandon or sell her only niece if it will get her ahead in life and take any advantage presented to her. Playable age 30 or over.
Sister
The caretaker of the children of Dorfli, this faithful nun will always look after her flock, even though there are some who may stray from it. Strong singer needed. Playable age 20 or over.
Herr Sessmen
Master of the manor and father of Klara, this rich man is busy at work but always has his heart set on his daughter. He’ll do whatever it takes to make his daughter happy even if he doesn’t always know how. Playable age 30 or over.
THE STAFF: Sebestain, Tontette, and Claire
The staff of Sessmen Manor are always eager to please. Sebastian is the wise butler ready to care for everything within the manor, Tentee is the experienced maid who’s over everyone’s nonsense,, and Claire is the inexperienced maid doing her best. Playable age 16 or over.
CHILDREN: Inge, Hans, Kiersten, Gretchen
The children of Dorfli are a well behaved bunch although often sharing some brutal honesty with newer children. Playable age 13 or under.

These shows will be multi-cast
There is no pay for this production and the theater requires a cast fee that goes towards production costs. Cast Fees are: $125 up through 16 yrs, $75 (ages 17-20 yrs) and $55 (21+) as well as a $30 Gala Fee PER FAMILY not individual for Opening and Closing celebrations.
Cast Fees are to be paid at the time of the audition (refunded if not cast or not participating up to one week after rehearsals start).
ALL REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE CONFLICTS MUST BE GIVEN AT THE TIME OF AUDITIONS. NO ADDITIONAL CONFLICTS WILL BE TAKEN.
